The importance of female heads of households in providing the basic needs of household members on the one hand and the limitations they face in most socio-economic fields have made it necessary to pay attention to the issues of female heads of households in most societies including our country. The purpose of this study is to use the systematic review method to review and evaluate the policy proposals that have been proposed in Iran for women heads of households. A total of 296 articles and 5 reports were identified. In the review and eligibility phase, the total number of selected texts was considered to be 79 texts, of which 62 studies used the quantitative method and 17 studies used the qualitative method. Based on the studies that proposed policy proposals, the characteristics of female heads of the household, the axes of vulnerability, the evaluation of policies and proposals were determined. The findings showed that more policy proposals were made based on the characteristics of low literacy, being unemployed, and being middle-aged. Based on the axes of vulnerability, women heads of households are more vulnerable psychologically and socially than they are materially vulnerable in many cases. The evaluation of policies for women heads of households showed that the most interventions for the empowerment of women heads of households were focused on the economic field and were mainly pursued in the form of financial payments and did not pay enough attention to other aspects of women's empowerment, while the empowerment of women heads of households was successful when It is expected to simultaneously pay attention to their mental health and improve their social and economic status.

Public health is derived from socio-economic factors. Despite this fact that these factors are not in the realm of medicine science, but it should be declared that the majority of health development in recent century is merely because of socioeconomic developments rather "Medical intervention" alone. In this regard, we should pay more attention to the relation between the amount of income and health indicators.There is no wonder that the healthier population, the less imposed expenses and the more reasonable distribution system, which they eventually will lead to social health. But the social gap existing among different social levels may cause great number of crimes, violence's and other social disorders.In order to achieve a successful and fruitful social policy, we must take advantage of all available means and logic solutions in almost every aspect of life such as agricultural, educational, residential and so on to improve the health conditions. In other words, we should follow an international motto saying that, "Health for All," and draw the best benefit of available financial and political supports.The decision makers and program designers should choose a policy followed by much more investment in health cares, and concentrate mainly on people cooperation and provide officials fields of activities for them to get a better health condition and set up a democratic political space. Health is considered to be the first and the most important aspect of human being as a creature involved with the rest of environment and being under such a healthy condition they will be able to take advantage of other benefits in the world. That is why social policy should focus on the health problem as a must and fact.

Health reform is the outcome of dispersed policy initiatives in different sectors, at different levels and across time. Policy work which can drive coherent health reform needs to operate across the governance structures as well as the institutions that comprise healthcare systems. Building policy capacity to support health reform calls for clarity regarding the nature of such policy work and the elements of policy capacity involved; and for evidence regarding effective strategies for capacity building.

There is an escalating demand for geriatric oral healthcare in all developed and developing countries including India. Two-thirds of the world’s elderly live in developing countries. This is a huge population that must receive attention from policy-makers who will be challenged by the changing demands for social and health services including oral health services. Resources are limited thus rather than being aspirational in wanting to provide all treatment needed for everybody, this critique presents a road map of how we might answer the present and future geriatric oral health concerns in a most efficient manner in a developing country. Viewing the recent Indian demographic profile and the trends in oral health, pertinent policy subjects have been discussed concerning the oral health needs of the elderly and also the associated challenges which include strategies to improve quality of life, strategies to train and educate the dental workforce and above all the role of healthcare systems towards realization of better aged society in India and other developing countries.
